Note: the Pupils Concert will be on Sunday 26th February 3pm – 4pm. (Not 29th January as previously stated).
Note: Wee wheels day has changed to Thursdays, only during lunchtimes.
AFTERSCHOOL CLUBS – There are a few places left on the International Cookery Class on Wednesdays 3.15 – 5pm. Pupils from classes 6 – 7 and 8 can participate. Costs £ 7.50 per class (cooking ingredients included in the price).
LEAVE OF ABSENCE PROCEDURE - Management would like to remind parents of the procedure for Leave of Absence. When absence is unavoidable, parents should write in advance and request leave of absence from the College of Teachers. The school places great value on the continuity of pupils’ education and strongly discourages absence during term time, and especially for family holidays.
THREE KINGS PLAY performance on Tuesday 24th January at 7.30pm in the Hall.
You are warmly invited to come and watch the Three Kings Play which will be performed by Class 12 on Tuesday 27th January at 7.30pm in the Hall. This is the third of the Ober-ufer plays that the school presents every year to the school community. It is suitable for Class 6 (12 years) and upwards. Donations gratefully received at the door.
FAMILY BURNS’ SUPPER and CEILIDH – Friday 27th January in the Hall.
Please come and enjoy our organic Burns Supper and Ceilidh organised by Class 11.
The evening will start with the supper at 6.30pm, followed by the Ceilidh at 8pm.
Tickets will be available from the office, and will also be sold at the Friday Market on the Friday 27th January.
Meal and Ceilidh: Adult £ 8.00; Child £5.00; Family £20 (2 adults + 2 children).
Ceilidh only: Adult £4.00; Child £3.00; Family £10.00 (2 adults + 2 children).
Although Ceilidh tickets will be available at the door, it would be greatly appreciated if meal tickets could be bought in advance as this will help calculate how much food is needed.

BURSARY STALL NEWS – Candlemas (Feb 2nd) is not far away. Celebrate in style by floating candles made from walnut shells + beeswax. Available from the BFS at the Friday Market this week. The Raffle prize for this week is ½ pint Emma Bridgewater ‘snowdrop’ mug. Tickets 50p from the BFstall.
