GOLDEN GIRLS - Two pupils from our school have become the first to attain the prestigious Gold Duke of Edinburgh award. Yesterday Didi Jellema and Kirsty Shinton went to Holyrood Palace in glorious sunshine to receive their certificate in the presence of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. Tomorrow, at the end of term assembly, they will be presented with their badges. The school is extremely proud of their achievement.

GOODBYE – We say goodbye to our devoted teacher Peter Snow after many years of teaching at our School. He will be dearly missed. We also say goodbye to all the pupils that will not return in the autumn including Class 12 who have finished their education and are ready to step into the world. Our last farewell goes to the foreign students who are returning home, we hope they enjoyed their stay with us.
Happy Holiday to you all and see you all back on Thursday 1st September.

BURSARY FUND STALL -The winner of last week’s bursary fund stall prize (romantic picnic set for 2 and free babysitting for 1st picnic) was Synnove Frankel. Congratulations, Synnove! Between them this academic year, Ruth and Nicola (who donates 10% of her takings) have raised £1,704.50. A drop in the ocean in terms of need, this is nevertheless significantly more than would have been going into the fund otherwise. Thank you everybody! We will be continuing with our efforts after the summer.

Katrina & Cameron Lambert would like to thank everyone who supported their fundraising stall at the Friday Market which raised £156 for the Back-up Trust.
