NOTE: Please hand in the orders for School photographs by Friday 10th June to make use of the special price offer.
 
THE CREATIVE HOLIDAY WEEK for 5 – 12 years old will run from 18th – 22nd July in our school.
The creative Holiday Week, this year with the theme “Down on the Farm”, will be running from Monday 18th July till Friday 22nd July from 9am till 1pm. Costs £100 per child. Phone 337 3410 for a leaflet or pick one up from the office.
 
HOLIDAY CLUB – Louise Smith and Dawn Morrison will be running a summer activity club based in the school from 1st – 31st August.  If you are interested in a place for your child please approach either Louise or Dawn in afternoon care for a booking form and any other information. Places are limited to 16 children (aged 5 – 11 years old) and all requests to be in by Friday 17th June.
 
THE GCSE ART EXHIBITION is from Monday 13th June till Wednesday 15th June.
You are invited to the Opening of the Art exhibition on Monday 13th June from 5pm – 7pm.
Meet the artists and enjoy refreshment. The artists will be present and tell you about their work.
The Art exhibition is open for viewing on Monday from 3pm – 7pm, Tuesday 9am – 4pm and Wednesday 9am – 3pm.
 
COBURG CLASS 8 Fare-well Ceilidh on Friday 10th June at 7:10pm in the Hall.
Classes 5 – 12 and host families/friends of German pupils are warmly invited to the farewell Ceilidh for our German class 8 on Friday 10th June. There will be a fabulous live Ceilidh band and some refreshments.
 
KINDY NEWS: NO TRANSITION GROUP on Monday 13th June – Whitsun Celebration in children’s usual group.
Also please bring in a photo of your child. (Part of class 1 presentation to the whole school).
 
KINDERGARTEN RAFFLE WINNERS - Thank you to everybody who supported our raffle. We are happy to announce the winners. First prize – reflexology voucher – goes to Karen Sykes. Second prize – home made bird house was won by Jake Horsburgh (class 3). Third prize – African cloth was won by Caroline Grohmann. Fourth prize – Falko vouchers go to Vicky Islam.
 
CAR BOOT SALE: The sun was conspicuous by its absence on Saturday and it was somewhat chilly but it did not rain on our parade! Thank you to all who supported us, booking a pitch to sell or coming to buy. We raised over £450 for our cultural trips. Special thanks to Mr Stevens, Mr Redpath, Ms Donat and Matthew Brews for their solid support from 8am! Cara Redpath and Marieke Biesta were the most efficient and hard working providers of refreshments. Thank you to everyone. Marcia Burgess.
 
RHUBARB APPEAL – The Bursary Fund Stall’s rhubarb patch has been plundered. Can anyone donate rhubarb, to be transformed into the ambrosial preserve for which the stall is famous? Phone Ruth Callan on 667 9845 if you can help. Thank you.
