Invitation to the Polwarth Big Lunch 2011

The school will be taking part in the 'Polwarth Big Lunch' on Sunday 5th June 2011 and hopes that pupils, parents, teachers and friends can come along too.

The event aims to bring together as many people as possible from across the area to have lunch, enjoy a range of family friendly activities and get to know their neighbours to help forge a stronger, friendlier community.  Everyone who attends is requested to bring some food and / or drink to share with others.

The event is being organised by Polwarth Church in partnership with several other community groups including the Flower Colonies Area Residents' Association. Local schools are particularly encouraged to get involved.

Where: Polwarth Church Gardens on the corner of Polwarth Terrace and Harrison Road
When: Sunday 5th June 2011
Time: 12.30 - 3pm
Bring: Your own food to share otherwise attendance is free
What's On: There will be entertainment for all the family and an exhibition promoting local groups and services

Please note that children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times. If the weather is inclement, the event will take place in Polwarth Church Halls
