Blue Sky Group. The BSG will be meeting again at the end of March for more fresh thinking and brainstorming. Our agenda this time will cover communication in the school and fundraising and we are keen to hear from anyone within the school community - new hands and old hands, pupils, staff and friends of the school. If you or anyone you know has experience in these areas, please contact Carolyn Grohmann on 0131 443 5818, cgrohmann@yahoo.co.uk or face to face at pick-up time by 22nd March. Many thanks to everyone who has supported the group and contributed so far.
LOWER SCHOOL LIBRARY - As some of you may know, the Lower School Library has not been operational during this session for lack of a suitable space to house it. It has now been decided that the library will be housed in the interview room, which is in great need of refurbishment anyway. Funds have been made available through the spending group to make this possible. We are now looking for someone to build suitable shelving.
Exact specifications and a plan will be available. If you think you could build such shelves or know of someone who can, please be in touch, as we are looking for estimates. You can reach me either via the school office or by phone on 0131 447 2005. Astrid Maclean
Please note: The School does not necessarily endorse or warrant the following information relating to activities or articles for sale. All notices for inclusion should be signed and dated and handed into the office, with appropriate payment, before 10.30am the preceding Friday. £2.00 for school ads, £3.00 out with.

COME TO SEMPERVIVUM EASTER WEEK at Laurieston Hall, Dumfries and Galloway 16th-23rd April.
Here’s how it tends to work: early on we each decide our focus for the week — then meet in morning groups that may focus on creative writing, crafting, walking, inner journeying, stand up comedy, photography, deep ecology, whatever folk offer. There are one off afternoon workshops on anything people choose to make happen.
In the evening there tend to be all-inclusive happenings: dancing, ceilidh, cabaret performances
Wholesome and delicious vegetarian food includes produce grown on Laurieston’s own smallholding. Meals are served communally in the dining room and participants are invited to take part in a cooking rota — but that’s all part of the fun. Accommodation is in family rooms, dorms, or camping. There’s a creative Kids Club for 3 to 12 year-olds, with games, dressing up, boat trips and den building. Please email Jan.herman@blueyonder.co.uk for more info and booking form.
