A CHRISTMAS CAROL

A huge THANK YOU to all pupils and staff who helped to make the production such a resounding success. The music and images from this show helped to set us up beautifully for the Christmas season ahead. Thanks too for those who heeded Scrooge's message and gave so generously at the door, so that we were able to cover all our costs.

LIBRARY NEWS: Thank you to everyone who has supported the new school library in its first term. It has got us off to a flying start, and it has been lovely to see the children getting such enjoyment from the super new books and the fresh cosy room. This project was funded by proceeds from the previous Christmas Market.
The library is now closed for the holidays and will reopen next term. Any books to return can be left in the basket in the interview room.

Janis seamlessly weaves Scottish folklore tales and contemporary fantasy in these three tales of a Highland boy plunged into the mysterious depths of an ocean world. The Magnus Fin books will be available to purchase, and signed by the author would make a super Christmas gift. All ages welcome; books most suitable for 8 - 12 years olds. Entrance free.

OBERUFER CHRISTMAS PLAYS
There will be more drama on the stage next Tuesday evening at 7pm when the Paradise Play and the Shepherds Play (starting at 7.45) will be performed by staff as their gift to the children and the community. Many former pupils and parents come back to see these plays year after year as they carry within them the real essence of Christmas.
