COMMUNITY GARDEN site visit 21st March
A site close to the school has been earmarked for the development of a community garden, and our school has been invited to be a part of it. On Sunday 21st March there will be a chance to come along to the site of the community garden (off Myreside Road, 5 mins walk from school) and have a look round, as well as to help clear some areas and begin work on paths. The site tour will start at 10am and you can stay for as long or as little time after that as you want to (up till 4pm latest). Sean Jacques, the project manager for the site, will be there to show us round and oversee the work. He’ll also be able to tell us more about what is planned and is keen to hear our ideas and suggestions. Children are very welcome but must bring an adult with them. If you plan to come along, then please let Sonia Theilen know on soniatheilen@doctors.org.uk or 0131 466 1683 (so that we have an idea of numbers and can contact you if plans change due to bad weather).
