Tuesday Notice no 7 spring 2010

23 February 2010 in Tuesday Notice

OLIVER!  Performances on Thursday March 4th & Friday March 5th at 7pm in the School Hall.

Pupils from Class 5 to Class 12 have been busy preparing for this production since October last year, and enthusiasm and excitement are running high. Please come and support what promises to be a highly entertaining spectacle. There are no tickets needed but a show of this nature is expensive to put on, so please give generously at the door as you leave! Philip Shinton and Iain Maclean.

OLIVER PROPS NEEDED for our performances next week. The production team is looking for the following props: round lace table cloth; cat basket; old wallets; toasting fork; treasure box; watch on chain; pewter mugs; chandelier; milk pales; stethoscope; locket. If anyone in the school community can help with these items (labelled) please get in touch with Philip Shinton or Sabine Steffen via the School office. Thank you.

ECO-SCHOOLS UPDATE - By now you may have noticed the recycling bins around school. We can recycle cardboard, tin and aluminium cans, tetra packs, glass, paper, envelopes and some plastics. All the bins are marked with details about what goes in them. Please try and make sure the right things go in the right bin!
And please try not to bring in things that can't be recycled, as we want to keep our landfill waste to a minimum. As well as helping the environment, our new recycling scheme should save the school about £500 per year.
