**SCHOOL CLOSED: TUES 7TH DEC**

The school will be closed on Tuesday 7th December. This decision was taken following today's heavy snowfall which has resulted in a significant amount of snow accumulating on the roofs of the school. 

Due to the risk of this snow falling from the roof, the school will not reopen until a formal health and safety assessment has been conducted. The safety of our pupils and staff is the priority.

This assessment will be conducted tomorrow morning (7th December) by an external roof consultant after which any recommendations will be acted upon. The school will only reopen when it is safe to do so. 

An announcement will be posted here after the assessment has taken place so please keep checking the website for more information.
