PTA News Update

The next PTA meeting will be on Tuesday 14th December at 20:00 in the Handwork Room. Please join us and the Class Conveners for an update on the Blue Sky Group (see below for more information), the Skills Questionnaire and the Community Building.

Lollipop Person

The PTA would like to thank all our parents/guardians who took the time to write to their local Councillor to highlight the need for a replacement Lollipop person. We would particularly like to thank Liz Murray who received a positive reply confirming that a temporary replacement lollipop person will be recruited as soon as possible.

 

Notices have been sent out asking for interested parties to apply. Please contact the School Office for more information if required. While recruitment is underway, all members of our school community are reminded NOT to park on the single line opposite the school gates as this restricts the view up and down the street for those trying to cross. The safety of our pupils is our priority. Anyone stopping here will be politely asked to move their vehicle so as not to endanger those crossing. 

 

Blue Sky Group

A new group is being formed as part of the PTA to bring together all the great ideas and inspirational projects which abound in the school community. Its aim will be to find ways of bringing as many of these ideas to fruition as possible.  Everyone including pupils, parents/guardians, teachers and friends of the school are invited to contribute ideas and suggestions to the group.  You may be new to the school and want to share ideas generated by your first impressions or you may be an old hand, with years of experience but still enthused by the school, its ideals and its achievements.  Whatever your thoughts, please contact Carolyn Grohmann by phone 0131 443 5818, cgrohmann@yahoo.co.uk or face to face at pick-up time.
