FAMILY BURNS SUPPER AND CEILIDH – Friday 22nd January at 6.30pm in the School Hall
Come and enjoy an organic Burns Supper and Ceilidh on Friday 22nd January.
A great night out for the whole family!
It starts at 6.30pm with supper followed at 8pm with a Ceilidh.
Tickets for Supper + Ceilidh: adult £7.00, child £5.00, family £18.00 (2 adults, 2 children).
Tickets for Ceilidh only: child £2.50, adult £4, Family £10 (2 adults, 2 children).
PLEASE BUY YOUR SUPPER TICKETS IN ADVANCE (this will help the kitchen).
Tickets available from Karin in the office and from Class 11 pupils at the Friday Market.
Tickets are also available at the door.
BERLIN TRIP FUND RAISING CAR BOOT SALE – 27th Feb 2010
Mrs Burgess is now taking bookings for the Car Boot Sale on Feb 27th Feb.
Please ensure you get a space as this event gets booked up very quickly!
A car space costs £10 (payable on booking). This is non-refundable as the Car Boot Sale will take place irrespective of the weather. Tables may also be hired at £3 each or a table space at £5.
Refreshments will be for sale. Please support our fundraising initiative. We need to fill at least 20 spaces! To book your space contact Mrs Burgess via school or on 441 9537.

ROAD SAFETY - May we remind parents that NO PARKING, picking up or dropping off on the Yellow Lines especially needs to be in force during the bad weather, as approaching traffic needs more time to stop safely and the cars using the yellow line area prevent a clear view for both Susan (crossing patrol) and the approaching drivers.

EXCHANGE WANTED – Meret Steinemann, a 16 year old girl from the Steiner school in Ittingen-Berne, Switzerland is looking for an exchange for 6 months. She is currently in class 9, and lives on a biodynamic farm near a Camphill place with her parents, 2 older brothers and a younger sister.
On our farm there are cows, pigs, horses, goats, a dog and many cats. Another family lives with five handicapped people also on the farm.
I attend the 9th class at the Steiner School in Ittigen. Our class is very interested in new things and people, they are very public-spirited. Also our teachers are easy to get on with.
Switzerland is a wonderful country with very different parts. The mountains are very high with much snow. The lakes are small but so nice. Next to us flows the river from Berne. After the school we often go to this stream and swim and barbecue into the evening.

EXCHANGE WANTED - My name is Sarah Roller-Cumming and I’d like to apply for an exchange to the Rudolf Steiner School in Edinburgh. I’m 15 years old and would be 16 the time I visit you next year. I would like to come to Edinburgh for six weeks at the start of the autumn term 2010.
