Free Range is a new not for profit group which aims to bring more crafts, songs, games and togetherness into our lives through workshops and events that are cheap and accessible to all. We will constitute the group and apply for funding, and need some experience at running sessions.
Free range singing. Thursday the 17th then every fortnight, from 2pm. The singing is for adults and older children but younger ones enjoy listening, drawing or playing.
We teach harmonies and rounds from around our beautiful world. Everyone welcome- it's about having a good time not having a perfect voice. It's free.
Free range puppets. Does anyone want to learn how to make Waldorf marionettes? I'd love to get a group together to make these wonderful floating dolls. Maybe we could do a puppet show at the Christmas market! How about Thursday the 24th and Friday the 25th from 2pm? (I think we'll need at least two sessions). It's free but donations to cover material costs would be appreciated.
Both events are at 31 Swanston Terrace, Fairmilehead. Contact Sarah-Ann 0131 445 7017 sarah@starmonkey.co.uk to let me know if you intend to come, :)
