Spinning into the abyss: to vanquish fears, to relive his past, to face his future. Fourteen-year-old Joe (Matthew Clarke) is confused, angry and isolated. Feeling abandoned by his mother, increasingly distant from his father and unable to communicate with is peers, Joe channels his frustration into mountain biking. Can he find the peace he so desperately seeks or will he destroy himself as he pushes himself to extremes?
Funded by the National Lottery through the UK Film Council’s First Light Movies initiative.
The Biker will be shown as part of a feature documentary screening.
