The Northern Lights Teaching Conference Returns

Teachers, parents and pupils are being encouraged to sign up now for the third Northern Lights Teachers Conference. The two day event will take place from 21st - 22nd May 2009 at the Findhorn Foundation Ecovillage near Forres in Moray, Scotland.

This year’s theme will be ‘Inspiration’ and will take advantage of many of the techniques employed by the business world to motive and energise the attendees.  Day one will include a presentation and experiential exercise on Spiral Dynamics – commonly referred to as ‘The Theory of Everything’ - plus an Olivier Mythodrama based on Shakespeare’s Henry V. The play will be used as a model of inspiring and integrated leadership.

Dorota Owen, joint organiser, explains: "The Northern Lights Teachers Conference is all about providing intellectual stimulation, laughter, time to enjoy nature and the opportunity to engage with other teachers, parents and pupils from across the UK."
