ART EXHIBITION - Come along and view the wonderful talent of our classes 11 & 12 art pupils in the School Hall. The exhibition is open on Tuesday 10th  and  Wednesday 11th June  9am - 4pm. Work is for sale.

TREASURE HUNT: Sunday 8 June - Meadows to OldTown and Back (2 – 3 hours.)
Teams of up to 5 - £5 a question sheet.   Discover Edinburgh……
Register and start in the Meadows at bottom of Chalmers Street between 1 – 2 p.m.
End in the Meadows at the big play park near the tennis courts by 4.30 p.m. Prizes 5 p.m.
Note this route has many steps and involves crossing some roads. Teams with children under 12 should have a 16+/ adult accompanying. Small children may need light buggies or scooters with them. Juice and biscuits at the halfway point.

“THE RACE FOR LIFE”
Katrina Lambert in class1 took part in “The Race for Life” on Sunday. She and her mum Elaine have been raising money for cancer research in memory of Katrina’s aunt who tragically died a year ago.
Class one want to help support Katrina with this because they have seen how much she misses her auntie! They are hoping to run round the play area “circuit” three times on Thursday lunchtime and are hoping that pupils in other classes (3-12) would be inspired to donate 50p or a £1 as a “sponsor” for their efforts. They will collect donations at the Friday Market for parents and friends and go round classrooms on Monday morning to collect. Please support class 1.

PTA – Our school’s Parents, Carers and Teachers Association (PTA) meets during the first week of each month. These meetings are open to all parents, carers and teachers of the school, not just committee members- check the Tuesday Notice for dates.
