CLASS 12 FUNDRAISING CONCERT on 16th May at 7.30pm in the School Hall
Class 12 and Upper School pupils invite you to an exciting programme of solo and ensemble pieces, both sung and instrumental, some of which will celebrate past school productions of musicals and operas. Some folk and popular music will also be performed.
Please come and support this worthy cause. Donations will go towards class 12’s fund and a further surprise cause to be announced on the night. There will be refreshments for sale during the evening.
 
LOST & FOUND – A digital camera (Samsung) was found in class 4 last week. See Karin in the office.
 
TREES AND TALES - As part of my final year research programme I am exploring games, storytelling and the outdoor setting. I am running a 6 week storytelling and making, and outdoor play and games session in the school on Tuesday afternoons from 2-3.15 for classes 1-3. Places are limited to 12. Trees and Tales will start on Tuesday 13th May and run till June 17th. 
 
PTA MEETING on Tuesday 13th May at 8pm
The PTA (Parents, Carers and Teachers Association) will next meet on Tuesday 13th May at 8pm in the Eurythmy Room in Edinholme. Topics we will be discussing, amongst others. Handbook for New Parents, Buddying System! No appointment necessary – free biscuits almost guaranteed, so put the date in your diary now! NEW HOME NEEDED – T.C., much loved indoor tom-cat, needs a new home (due to cat-hair allergy). He is 8 years old, neutered, black and white, and has a cute little face like a kitten. HOLIDAY EXCHANGE WANTED
First I want to introduce myself and my family. My name is Peter Lang, I am the music director of the MOZART BOYS CHOIR VIENNA. My wife Andrea is a teacher in primary school. We have 3 children: my son Christoph is 16, Johanna 15, Veronika is 10 years old. Music is a big part of our family life.
We would like to have an exchange in the holidays, August 2008, for about 2 weeks for my son Christoph with a pupil from a school family. In same time we invite the son or the daughter to us to Vienna, showing her/him this town and parts of Austria. EXCHANGE WANTED – Tony Burling from class 9 of the Waldorf school in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA is looking for an exchange with an upper school pupil for the autumn term 2008. He lives with his parents and sister, two dogs and two cats outside of town. He plays the piano, guitar and loves to ski, play soccer, tennis and table tennis. Santa Fe is in the high desert of New Mexico at about 2100 meters. The city is at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.
