EASTER HOLIDAY is from Wednesday 19th March 1pm till Thursday 10th April.

Parents are warmly invited to attend the Easter Assembly at 11.30am.
SCHOOL LUNCHES -There will be Pizzas on our first day back after the holidays Thursday 10th April.
WELL DONE AMBER! - Bursting onto the Figure Skating Scene is Amber Jamieson from Class 7. Despite only having been learning for the last year and a bit, Amber came first in her category, out of a field of 18, in the Magnum Open in Irvine. This was her first competition. Well done, Amber!
PTA (Parents, Carers and Teachers Association) meeting Tuesday 15th April at 8pm in the Eurythmy Room in Edinholme. Topics we will be discussing, amongst others: Handbook for New Parents/Buddying System. No appointment necessary – free biscuits almost guaranteed, so put the date in your diary now! BIKE SALE - Thanks to everyone who came to the bike sale on Saturday (to sell or buy) and to the parents who helped. We sold more than two dozen bikes, trikes etc and made £100 for the school. There will be cycle proficiency training on offer for the children during the summer term and we'll use
some of the money from the bike sale to pay for a 'bike doctor' to come and make sure that the children's bikes are in good working order. We plan to make the bike sale an annual event, every spring, so keep hold of your old bikes etc till the next one!

AN EDINBURGH WEEKEND OF ‘PLAYFORD DANCING’ –Sat & Sun April 12 – 13 at Columcille Centre, Newbattle Terrace, Edinburgh

CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP - Celebrating Motherhood
Becoming a mother is a lifetime's work in learning to love and let go. This writing workshop will celebrate the joys and challenges of this process and offers time to reflect on significant moments of the mothering journey as well as encouraging a deeper connection to ourselves as women. WORKSHOPS with Damian Callan in the Summer.
School parent and artist Damian Callan is running 3 one week courses for adults over the summer: Portraits & Places, 14th – 18th July; Impressionism in Dalry 21st – 25th July; The clown and the Acrobat 4th – 8th August. The day starts at 9.30am and ends at 4.30pm. Courses are based at Damian’s Studio in Dalry, but involve visits to other locations. All materials and transport provided. Cost per course £230. SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER AT GARVALD HOME FARM
The first evening was very successful and we would like to give more people the opportunity to come to wine and dine on the farm.There are two more dinner evenings planned; Sat 29th March & Sat 26th April.
