MORNING SINGERS - Please join us (Nick Brett) at 8.15 am in the Hall to sing our way to Easter.
BERLIN FUND - Last week saw the final baking stall on Thursday lunch-time. How will you manage without us! I would like, on behalf of the class 12 German group, to thank everyone who has supported our baking stall, book stall and Car Boot Sale over the past months.
We are delighted to report that the Car Boot Sale produced a profit of almost £350. In total the above initiatives have produced almost £1100. Thank you all once again. We are off to Berlin next Sunday and looking forward to a great experience. Marcia Burgess
BIKE SALE – Saturday 15th March 20089.30am – 12pm
Just in time for upcoming biking season. Needed: bikes (children’s and Adult’s), scooters, tricycles, tag-a-longs, bike seats, bike equipment. Pease bring in on Friday 14th March 7pm – 8.30pm or Saturday 15th March 8.30am – 9.30am. 20% of the sales are fundraised for the school. The money raised last year bought high visibility vests for the kindergarten outings.
Bike maintenance will be offered on site and will go ahead whatever the weather! Volunteers still needed, please contact Sonia on 466 1683.
FOOTBALL RATTLES NEEDED – The Class 6/7/8 recorder group is learning to play Haydn’s Toy Symphony and we would like to borrow several Football rattles. If you can lend us one or more please contact Winnie Paul at 0131 228 1920. Many thanks.
BACK-UP INVIGILATORS NEEDED for the forthcoming exams.
The School needs an army of back-up invigilators for the exams coming up in May and June. Fiona would like to hear from anyone who can help. Please contact her in the office on 0131 337 3410.
TESCO COMPUTER VOUCHERS for schools will run from 3rd March till 11th May.
Please bring your vouchers to the office where there is a collection box.

GARVALD CRAFT STALL - There will be Easter and Spring crafts for sale on Friday Market 14th March. The Craft Stall helps to raise funds for the new extension at Garvald Home Farm.
SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER AT GARVALD HOME FARM
The first evening was very successful and we would like to give more people the opportunity to come to wine and dine on the farm.There are two more dinner evenings planned; Sat 29th March & Sat 26th April. These nights are to raise funds for our new extension. We are offering a 3-course meal (with wine and coffee) prepared largely from our own produce. Price £30 per head. Book early – limited places. PTA – Our school’s Parents, Carers and Teachers Association (PTA) meets during the first week of each month. These meetings are open to all parents, carers and teachers of the school, not just committee members- check the Tuesday Notice for dates.
