ADVENT PREPARATION
Thursday 27th from 1pm and all of Friday 28th November the school is closed for advent preparation.
BOARDING FAMILIES NEEDED for January to April. If you are interested in having a foreign student for a term or would like to know more about it, please contact Karin in the Office on 337 3410.
CHRISTMAS MARKET
Thank you to everybody who has given so much help and support in preparation for the Christmas Market. Grateful thanks from Class 4 Steering Group.
All Stall Holders the Main Hall will be available for setting up stalls from 6pm on Friday 21st (once Christmas tree is installed and furniture arranged).
Donations of cakes, biscuits etc for various cafes and stalls please bring before 10.45 on Saturday Morning.
Volunteers needed for final clear-up on Sunday morning 11am – 12.45 pm.
Any savoury snacks and cakes for Edinholme tea Room please ring Fiona Vickers on 667 7802 to let her know what to expect.
Needed Holly berries: Please bring on Friday for table decorators or call Ruth Callan on 667 9845.
Needed freezer space wanted near school for Wed / Thurs/ Fri to freeze tin cans with water. Contact Mary Snow for offer on 452 8796.
CHRISTMAS MARKET FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS
Would ALL operators of sales points who expect to be provided with a cash float please collect an Information Sheet from the Christmas Market basket located by the window in the School Office. This explains the financial arrangements for the market and should be read carefully.
N.B . from this year onwards all cheques accepted in payment should be made payable to 'ERSS Christmas Market'.
Expenses Claimfor those wishing to claim expenses for this year's Christmas Market forms are available from the School Office; they must be filled in, be accompanied by all receipts, and placed in the marked box in the office, in a sealed envelope please.Please tender all expenses claims by the end of term.

ADVENT FAIR at Pishwanton Community Wood, Long Yester, near Gifford on Sunday 30th November11am-4pm. Traditional Crafts and produce for sale, activities in the craft workshop. Soup. Bread, Hot Punch for sale. Carol singing at 4pm and lighting candles in an advent spiral.
HELIOS FOUNTAIN Competition. – Try and count the Christmas decorations in our shop window. Enter your name and the winner will receive a Helios Fountain gift token for £100.
At some stage during the afternoons of 29th November and 14th, 20th and 21st of December, there will be a real life Christmas fairy in our window
